It is important to closely follow the recommended handling, storage, and cleaning instructions for high performance coated flexible films in order to ensure their proper performance. DyneTEC provides a range of product service bulletins to assist our customers with the proper packaging, handling, cleaning, and inspection of thin film coated products.

The quality of the coated flexible films can be compromised by improper storage, cleaning, or handling. Many types of contaminants such as residual oils, acids, or solvents can permanently damage coatings and substrates. DyneTEC cleans and packages our products to minimize both possibility of damage during shipment and the need for ancillary cleaning. Custom packaging is available to address unique needs including clean room packaging and static sensitivity requirements.

Since 2018 DyneTEC has provided “hands on” training to instruct customers on proper methods for packaging, handling, cleaning, and inspection of our products. We also offer the following relevant literature and support:

1. Product Service Bulletins – Instructions for the Handing, Cleaning and Storage of thin film coated rolled products are available. There are specific instructions for different product families.
2. Customer Tutorial – Inspection, Cleaning, and Handling of coated film products.
3. Facility Review – As a service to our customers, DyneTEC can review customers’ assembly lines to help ensure success when onboarding new programs.

Note: Training can be conducted at DyneTEC or at the customer’s facility.
